Help Ordering Products on Urbanities
How do I place an Order?
Simply browse our site and whenever you find something you want to purchase click 'Add to Cart'. The item will be stored in your cart for 3 hours. You can keep on shopping and adding items. When you are ready you can proceed to 'Checkout' and either login (for existing customers) or create a new account.
You can also add a product to Your Wishlist and see it anytime you log back in.
Do I Need to be a Registered Member of Urbanities to Shop?
Yes, but you can join in less than 30 seconds and it's free to join! We also have special offers and discounts available to members that sign up for our newsletter.
Our sign up is simple, easy to follow and your private information is stored securely.
What is the Delivery Timing?
Your order is shipped normally 1 and 3 business days from when you place your order (if its extra busy we may dispatch 4-5 days from when you place your order).
For shipping to delivery addresses within Australia, we offer two shipping methods:
For Metropolitan Street Addresses (not PO Boxes) - Delivery is via secure door to door courier with signature on delivery. Usually ships within 1-2 days from dispatch and is very safe and secure (with tracking).
For regional and PO Boxes - Delivery is via Standard Parcel Australia Post (no tracking normally).
See our Postage and Delivery Section for our great shipping rates. Delivery times (from the day we dispatch) can be from 3 to 7 days depending on what you order and your location.
For international orders delivery times may vary depending on the country and local postal service and can be from 1 to 3 weeks.
Will I be Charged Import Duties or Taxes for Deliveries to International Addresses (Outside Australia)?
You may be subject to import duties and/or taxes levied once the package reaches your destination country. Whether you are levied duties varies from country to country, however, normally small shipment values of a personal nature are not levied duties.
What about Returns or Exchanges?
You are welcome to exchange an item you have purchased either for another item or credit on Urbanities. If an item is faulty or we sent you the wrong item then we will gladly exchange it or give you a refund. See the Urbanities Returns and Store Credit Policy page for full details.
Is it safe for me to use my credit card online?
We use latest security technology and processes. Firstly we use PayPal for processing payments and never store your credit card number on our server. Orders are processed securely on our site and your details are stored securely and encrypted. You can be assured that transacting on Urbanities is as safe as shopping in a department store.
How do I Get Involved in the Urbanities Designer Community?
Urbanities is for both shoppers and product designers and artists. We run design competitions and product design submissions so if you are a designer check back every so often for more details on how to get involved in our design community.
